I will miss a true friend.Īs we journey through life, it’s ups and downs and curve balls, we are blessed to have those soldiers God places in our path who teach us to overcome obstacles with joy, determination and a heart dispositioned to simply do what is right, good and of benefit to the world. My sympathy goes to all the family in whom she expressed her joy and pride. I'm sure that Jean is rejoicing by being with him and Ken in God's embracing love. The past few years Jean and I have not been able to get together and I'm sorry that I was unaware that Danny passed away last year. Ginny was also an occasional babysitter while we lived nearby. I was fortunate to have Nancy as my doctor and Elizabeth and Kathleen in my preschool classes. We still made sure to have an annual luncheon visit for many years and it allowed me to catch up on all the family. She, Barb Sovereign, and Mary Lou Day would pick up doughnuts and come to my house each week that first year in town where we put Billy in the high chair and settled down to brush up on our bridge skills, or non-skills! That began a wonderful friendship with the four of us until only Jean and I were left in town. She was one of the first people I met when we both moved into Urbana in 1965. It is with sadness but wonderful memories that I am thinking of my good friend, Jean. Such a privilege to know Antje! Her memory will live on. I also remember finding Antje so endearing, always genuine and curious. I remember thinking Ed so fortunate to have such constant support from his wife. Whenever I saw Antje, she was typically by Ed’s side. I was even more impressed at how attentive and engaged she was with our discussions. I was impressed that she chose to attend our panel, among any number of things that she could spend her time on. The sight of Antje on my screen lifted me up even more. But I moderated the discussions with great interest. I was not well that day, running a fever and battling the chills. Antje zoomed in to participate in the panel as well. I moderated the panel, where Professor Ed Kolodziej discussed the geopolitical implications of the US nuclear submarine deal with Australia. At a panel discussion, organized by the European Union Center here at University of Illinois. Antje Kolodziej was on November 17, 2021.

#PUTLOCKER AC PHANTOM OF THE OPERA 25TH ANNIVERSARY ONLINE MOVIE#
If you're a Les Mis fan, this movie is a must. The last time I saw Ms. The encores with the original cast, backed by a chorus of hundreds was breathtaking. The occasional cut to various instrumental highlights was a wonderful addition and seamlessly included the orchestra as an important part of the ensemble. It was adequate but uncomfortably contrasted by his much stronger, seasoned cast mates. He really gave it his all and had some nice moments in the sweeter songs, but lacked the vocal fullness and attack for the more powerful songs. I didn't quite understand the decision of casting Nick Jonas as Marius. Ramin Karimloo was a standout with his brilliant portrayal of Enjolras. Samantha Barks shined as Eponine with a stunning vocal performance.

Alife Boe's Val Jean was brilliant, with an operatic quality. What is so great is the way they made use of soft split screens to be able to watch multiple performers' reactions and "dialog." Norm Lewis, whose subtle facial expressions and genuine passion commanded the stage/screen, sang Javert with such power and depth that I actually, for the first time, empathized with his character. Seeing the show on the big screen with a bigger sound system really make the nuances of the genius score come to life.

Many of the performers rival and in some cases surpass those of the 10th Anniversary Dreamcast.
